![]() I looked to see if maybe there was an anime since it had a manga because I wanted more Shinagawa and Adachi, but I was sorely disappointed. It’s light, funny, yet still shares an important message of being yourself and doing what’s right. Overall: I think this is a great summer drama. I think the only time I felt the story was somewhat lacking was the romance and the fact that in order to fit it in the last of it seemed a bit rushed, but at the same time it would’ve been hard any other way, so it’s not a huge complaint. The theme of changing your personality to fit in or to suffer under societies expectations plays out strongly in each episode for the main characters. Plot: Based on a manga, this drama was pretty straight forward when it came to plot. But at the same time I still enjoyed a lot of the acting in this drama and it was played well. It was a bit annoying and he actually managed to drag down scenes. There were moments when I felt he could have done more to get his Yankee across then keep his mouth a gap. On the other hand Hongo Kanata as the snobbish Izumi left something to be desired when it came to his character. I enjoyed each episode because of these characters. They also meshed well together which was an added bonus. They knew their characters or at least had the look and energy to pull off the characters two characters. What makes this drama for me is the two lead actors, Narimiya Hiroki and Naka Riisa. But things change for this character when he learns she’s in fact the Hurricane Ada of legend and she’s determined to become a normal girl.Īcting: The thing about younger actors is that there can be people who shine and then people who are down right awful. ![]() When he meets the over enthusiastic Adachi Hana going to school one day he sudden feels as if a plague has crossed over his life. Everyone there thinks he’s the infamous Hurricane Ada who’s beaten up twenty people to save his friend. Summary: Shinagawa Daichi has gotten into one of the more elite schools, but it’s his reputation for being a bit of a Yankee and not his academics that precedes him into the school. It is another High School drama focused on Yankees and the like, but it’s hilarious and light approach and the chemistry between the lead actors made this drama both interesting and at the top of my must see list.
